EVENT:  Iron Chef Canada

DATE: To be announced, series premiere 17 October, 2019

I am one of the guest judges on Iron Chef Canada. For so many of us, the original Iron Chef was essential television. It is fun, spirited competition among the best in the country. And, Kitchen Stadium is a sight to behold. I’ll be sharing my specific dates on social media, please check there. It was ridiculously fun. Iron Chef Canada airs on Food Network Canada, Wednesdays at 10 PM, ET.


EVENT:  Globe and Mail Seine River Cruise

DATE: 1o 11 July, 2019

Truly excited to announce that we will be returning to France for another trip. This time, as the ideal compliment to the journey through southern France last summer, the Globe and Mail will be taking guests to the north, starting and ending in Paris. From the website, “As you cruise, see some of the world’s most exquisite architecture, quaint seaside towns, and important sites from Canada’s wartime history. EVENT:  Canada’s Table

October is cookbook month, and in celebration of the publishing industry in Canada, I am honoured to be part of Canada’s Table, I’ll be leading a workshop with recipes from my cookbook, as part of a daylong program of speakers and demonstrations, from a brilliant roster of talent.  More information and registration here

EVENT:  Globe and Mail French River Cruise

DATE: 9 to 22 August, 2018

I am nothing short of thrilled to be the culinary co-host of The Globe and Mail's French River Cruise. Join me, wine expert Beppi Crosariol, and a roster of journalists as we travel from Paris to the south of France, first on train before embarking on a river cruise through the Rhone and Saône rivers. EVENT:  Chatelaine: The Big Dish

DATE: 29 October, 2017

As part of Chatelaine Magazine's first The Big Dish event, a day to connect women who work in the food community or simply are passionate about what we eat, I'll be on a panel with the inspiring Shayma Saadat (The Spice Spoon) and Meghan Telper (nutritionist, author of The UnDiet Cookbook). We will be speaking on our relationships with food, in our day-to-day lives and as professionals in the field.  More information and registration here

EVENT:  Autumn Brunch at Terrain

Before Terrain's Autumn Bounty Festival for starts for the day, I am so happy to be hosting a brunch at their Glen Mills, PA location. EVENT:: TWO EVENTS at Barbra-Jo's Books to Cooks Book Signing and Talk

This should be such a fun evening! First, I'll be talking CBC's Sheryl MacKay as part of her NORTH by NORTHWEST book club. Signed copies of Seven Spoons will be available for purchase at this free event.

Then, there will be a chance to really get into the book and its recipes, as we sample and discuss some favourites. Please note, the reception is a ticketed event. The ticket price includes a copy of the book for signing, as well as refreshments. Tickets are available here
